Intelsat at ITW: We Manage the Network

Noting the value to customers of opting for a managed network solution – “reducing capex and operations headaches” to name a couple – Intelsat’s Nick Dowsett, Director, GlobalConnex Solutions, led this morning’s Innovation Workshop, “Managed Network Services for your Complete Communications Needs.”

During his overview of Intelsat’s managed solutions portfolio, Nick highlighted collocation facilities at Intelsat teleports and points-of-presence, as well as the fact that Intelsat manages its global terrestrial network, which includes approximately 28,000 miles of fiber, with ample redundancy built in to mitigate outages.
