Intelsat’s customer extranet: MyIntelsat

This week, Intelsat is exhibiting at ITW—the world’s largest trading event for the telecommunications industry. Today, I had the pleasure of delivering a presentation on Intelsat’s customer extranet: MyIntelsat. The purpose of MyIntelsat is to facilitate business-customer collaboration.

After a year of presenting the capabilities of MyIntelsat to customers at various events around the world, it still delights me to see the amazed expressions of our customers—“Really? We can have this bouquet of features to help us manage our portfolio of services?! Sign me up!

Within MyIntelsat, customers obtain detailed information on:
  • their Transponder & Managed services and confirm their monthly recurring charges
  • download their Transmission Plans
  • look-up Commitment Services portfolio
  • their Invoices
  • and obtain a graphic display of their Internet traffic reports for their GXS hybrid services.

Customers are especially impressed with at all the tools we have built to help them work smarter. The detailed coverage maps with high-res, downloadable full color uplink and downlink maps are a sure favorite.

MyIntelsat is the place to go if you need to register an earth station antenna or look up all of a company’s registered antennas with Intelsat.

Do you need to do a Link Budget? Then go to MyIntelsat to download LST5 – the official Intelsat Link Budget application and determine optimum HPA and earth station size requirements.
